Vins français
Although its original terroir is located in the northern Côtes-du-Rhône (Saint-Joseph, Côte-Rôtie, etc.), Syrah has conquered new territories (southern Côtes-du-Rhône, Languedoc, Roussillon).
Much of Syrah's success is down to its strong personality - in our opinion too often produced in a caricatural way. However, when the conditions for its true expression are met - a combination of excellent terroir, respectful farming and vinification without chemicals - Syrah stands out for its beautiful dark colour, its rich palette of aromas (violet, black fruit, pepper) and flavours (blackcurrant, blackberry, liquorice, chocolate, spices), and its silky texture in a harmonious relationship between alcohol and tannin.
