Three Lands, three grape varieties!
Like the rare Three Lands cuvée, composed of 3 grape varieties from different terroirs, these 3 grape varieties have more in common than you might think, despite their obvious singularity: the structured vinosity of Mondeuse from Savoie, the spicy intensity of Syrah from the Rhône Valley and the vigorous fruit of Gamay from Beaujolais.
It's not uncommon for a red wine with certain aspects of Syrah and Gamay to turn out to be a Mondeuse! Classically vinified alone, these 3 grape varieties speak of terroir in their own idiom.
