The Rhône Valley, from the Gard to the Vaucluse
From Montélimar to Avignon, the Rhône offers a wide panorama of vineyards on both banks of the southern part of the valley. On the right bank, there are the villages and crus of the Gard, such as Tavel, renowned for its deep rosés. And on the left bank, the Rhone villages and crus of the Vaucluse and their neighbours in the Ventoux. These terroirs, with their rich range of southern grape varieties, produce wines full of generosity and character in all three colours.
